Job description

Primary purpose of the job
 
The following are the primary responsibilities of this person;
  • Ensure that all your daily functions and operations comply to KDC’s written SOPs, Good Warehousing and Distribution Practices, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and KDC’s Quality Management System.
  • Adherence to good housekeeping practises
  • Constant communication between warehouse staff to address expectations, requirements and compliance
  • Accurate packing of orders as per the generated invoice.
  • Using of appropriate box labels on the shippers (cytotoxic, fragile, dawn delivery, mixed batches, urgent, etc).
  • Counting and weighing of packed shippers and generation of waybills and box labels
  • Quantity of shippers is displayed on the box labels
  • Prioritise the packing of back-orders and urgent orders
  • Proper stock handling to eliminate damages and report any such damages immediately to the warehouse manager.
  • Consolidation of orders before handover to dispatch.
  • Participate in annual stock take.
 

Minimum requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Matric with 50% in Pure Maths or 60% in Maths Literacy
