Job description

Job Specification
  • Assist in daily warehouse receiving and distribution areas
  • Ensure stock safely and correctly stored away
  • Receiving of incoming stock and routing to appropriate area
  • Filing of stock orders from production
  • Accurately log inventory transactions
  • Do cycle counts and reconciliation activities
  • Accurately and timely complete instructions for all tasks
  • Comply to company policies and safety regulations
  • Operate forklift/walk-behind or man-on stacker/turret truck and/or pallet jack
  • Accurately pick orders from pick lists
  • Replenish of the Auto Dispensing Unit (ADU) to meet Operational demands
  • Bulk picking in preparation for the following day’s dispensing to be done.
  • Replenish stock continuously to ensure uninterrupted dispensing on the ADU
  • Replenish stock on the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) principle to eliminate stock write offs as a result of expiry
  • Verify stock expiry dates and escalate variances to immediate supervisor
  • Attend and participate in daily / weekly Team meetings
  • Adherence to good housekeeping practises
  • Accurate reporting of errors
  • Time & attendance according to Company Policies

  • Ability to act independently
  • Ability to accept and take charge of projects allocated on short notice
  • Willingness to work overtime during high pressure periods

Minimum requirements

Requirements:
  • Matric 
  • Learner Basic / Qualified Basic 
  • 1 - 2 year’s warehouse, stock control, stock levels, replenishment, etc.
  • Registered at SAPC
